Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
During my 20 years of military service as a Coast Guard Petty Officer and as a Navy Officer, I learned about teamwork and results-focused leadership. Regardless of rank or assignment, we focused on defining the mission objectives. As a team member, I saw the importance of my unique contributions. As a team leader, I learned how critical it was to have qualified and motivated team members. As a business owner I use those skills daily to build my team and set and achieve business objectives.
