Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
My experience as a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a local comic con has inspired me to merge the two interests. I developed a non-profit organization focusing on veterans in comic arts. I hired a veteran, who earned a Purple Heart, to teach comic drawing and publication to veterans and the community. My family is a military family with my father, who served in the army, my uncle, a Marine, who fought in the Vietnam War and his son, who followed in his footsteps as a Marine.
