Throughout my time in the Navy, I have worked closely with both senior enlisted and officers that have taught me about the importance of dedication, humility, compassion, integrity, organization, and sacrifice. Most importantly, they taught me the importance of the Navy core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment. Whether I am wearing my uniform or not, I am a sailor first.
